Music Center with a super long title
Ideation for Community Engagement with a super long sub title
The Music Center is one of the largest and most prestigious performing arts centers in the United States. In late 2013, The Music Center engaged GOOD to brainstorm a new program on combining art and citizenship, or “Artizenship”.
What GOOD did
GOOD worked closely with Music Center team members to create and launch Artizen Lab, a program that celebrates the daily creative acts of citizens to build stronger and more vibrant communities. The Artizen Lab was launched as an “Idea Jam” where 400 citizens participated in an interactive event where they contributed artistic ideas to express their feelings about community. The online competition drew thousands of voters who selected three top ideas that were then brought to life at The Music Center’s Bookfest.
We facilitated a series of collaborative workshops with The Music Center; each designed to surface different strategic considerations. We helped connect the dots and created the concept of Artizen Labs through several rapid ideation sessions. Throughout the planning year we acted as strategic advisers in creating the user experience and outreach.
